Jeff has over 30 years’ experience in the financial services industry. His many years of hands-on experience give Jeff insight into the hearts and minds of the NZ market and client needs, making him well qualified to drive Kepa’s expansion ensuring we provide a truly unique solution to our members.
National Business Development Manager
Thinus has years of business development and insurance experience. He has worked as a financial adviser in New Zealand and as a BDM in South Africa for over 20 years. A legal degree, combined with a natural ability to build and manage strong networks to ensure lasting partnerships in the adviser environment.
Head of Strategic Alliances
Mike has a great deal of experience in building business relationships, gained from his time as an Account Manager and Business Relationship Manager with ACC, and then a BDM with Tower Insurance.
Prior to moving to NZ, he was a Detective for the Greater Manchester Police in the UK for 12 years, so he knows what it takes to manage good relationships and get the best out of people and businesses.
Mike spent 4 years with TNP and Kepa and was our National Sales Manager.
After working on his own Advisory Business for the last 12 months Mike has now returned as Head of Strategic Alliances.
Key Account Manager
Weini is our Key Account Manager looking after both her Risk and Home Loans Panel throughout NZ. She is the go to person discussing anything Kepa related and always welcome anyone for a friendly chat. She loves to work with her advisers to establish goals and objectives and to help them to grow their business through referrals and marketing. She has been with Kepa since its inception with her past experience including completing her Business degree in Finance and Economics, working as a mortgage and insurance adviser, and in lead generation roles for business’s including insurance and financial planners.
Natalie joined the Kepa team in September 2014. She brings with her an extensive knowledge of the financial industry, which started when she joined ASB Bank in 2004.
Since then, Natalie has worked for Sovereign insurance, in Institutional Business where she was a business manager.
Joanne is our Adviser Support. She has extensive experience in the areas of Banking, Risk Advice and Mortgages having worked in the NZ industry for over 16 years. She has worked as an Adviser for nib, TOWER and New Zealand Home Loans, she was a Lending Analyst for AMP Banking and a Business Development Officer for SBS Bank. She started her career with Westpac as a Bank Teller and progressed to a Consultant in Private Banking. She has completed the Postgraduate Diploma in Personal Financial Planning with The University of Waikato.
Joanne’s enthusiastic nature will help you get the most out of your relationship with Kepa, as she understands the challenges faced by Advisers in today’s environment.
Lynda is the yin of our accountancy department and works closely with Jane (the yang). Lynda makes sure everyone gets their commissions and salaries on time, so we like to butter her up by bringing pet treats for those helpless animals she has a habit of rescuing.
Mandy is our IT Guru, who makes sure our computers are running smoothly (even if the operators are not!). She is the one who’ll help you with your technical support as well, and maybe even some gaming hints if you ask her nicely.
It & Admin Support
Haley is our first port of call for anything admin and also assists Mandy with technical support of our Kepa systems. In the past, her days were spent working as a Stores Accountant down at the Devonport Naval base. So if you excuse the puns, as the newest member on board of Kepa she is armed with admin/IT experience and a cheerful can do attitude to sail her way through new waters helping and assisting in the advisory world!
Sarah is our marketing and graphic design whiz, and as she usually listens to house music quite loudly while she works, we’re glad she does it mostly from home.
